Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters (MBIFL) is a prominent literary and cultural festival held annually in Thiruvananthapuram.
The Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters (MBIFL) is one of South India’s largest literary gatherings, celebrating literature, ideas, culture, and creative expression through a rich mix of panel discussions, author talks, poetry readings, book launches, workshops, and cultural performances. Started in 2018 and organised by the Mathrubhumi group, the festival brings together writers, thinkers, artists, and public figures from India and around the world to explore contemporary themes, exchange perspectives, and inspire audiences. With hundreds of speakers and diverse sessions spanning literature, politics, art, and society, MBIFL fosters intellectual dialogue and cultural connection for readers and creative minds alike.

Leash is Mandatory
All pets must be on a secure leash at all times. No free roaming. -
Vaccination is Compulsory
Pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations. Carry proof if requested. -
Pet Parent Responsibility
Pet parents are fully responsible for their pet’s behaviour and safety. -
Clean-Up Rule
Clean up after your pet immediately. Disposal bins will be provided. -
Aggressive Behaviour
Pets showing aggressive behaviour may be asked to leave for everyone’s safety. -
Health Condition
Unwell, injured, or female pets in heat are not allowed inside the venue. -
Hydration & Comfort
Ensure your pet is well hydrated and not stressed. Take breaks when needed. -
No Outside Food (If Applicable)
Outside pet food or treats may be restricted in certain activity zones. -
Activity Participation
Follow staff instructions during games, pools, contests, and stage activities. -
Respect the Community
Be kind to fellow pet parents, pets, vendors, and volunteers.
