  • Kala Ghoda Art Festival 2026 is Mumbai’s iconic open-air celebration of art, culture, and creativity, transforming the historic Kala Ghoda precinct into a vibrant cultural hub.

It is one of Asia’s most celebrated multidisciplinary arts celebrations that transforms the historic streets, gardens, lawns, and heritage spaces into a vibrant, open-air cultural campus. Over nine days, this festival brings together visual art installations, theatre, music, dance, literature, film screenings, heritage walks, workshops, and more, offering experiences for art lovers of all ages. From children’s creative installations and interactive storytelling to stand-up comedy, curated music performances, and bustling artisan markets, KGAF invites visitors to explore creativity at every corner of the city’s beloved art district while celebrating Mumbai’s rich cultural legacy.

Organised annually by the Kala Ghoda Association, the festival not only showcases artistic expression but also reflects a deep commitment to preserving and revitalising the heritage of the Kala Ghoda area, with funds raised supporting restoration and community development. With events spread across venues like Jehangir Art Gallery, David Sassoon Library, Cross Maidan, Cooperage Bandstand and more, attendees can enjoy everything from avant-garde theatre and thought-provoking panels to culinary experiences and heritage storytelling—making KGAF 2026 both a cultural feast and a celebration of creativity, history, and urban life in Mumbai.
