The Human Library event is happening at Hedge Club, Kochi, on Saturday, 17 January 2026, starting at 11:00 AM. This unique and interactive experience allows participants to “read” real people instead of books, where individuals with diverse life experiences share their personal stories in an open, conversational setting. Attendees can listen, ask questions, and engage in meaningful dialogue, fostering empathy, understanding, and fresh perspectives.
Hosted in the relaxed and creative environment of Hedge Club at Ernakulam South, the event offers a safe, inclusive space for honest conversations and human connection. The session typically runs for around two hours and is open to anyone interested in learning through real-life narratives rather than traditional talks or performances.

Entry to the Human Library event is subject to valid registration or ticket confirmation. Participants are requested to arrive at least 10–15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time, as late entry may disrupt ongoing sessions and could be restricted. The event is based on respectful dialogue and active listening; all attendees are expected to maintain courtesy, confidentiality, and an open mindset during interactions.
Photography, videography, and audio recording are not permitted unless expressly authorized by the organizers. Any form of discriminatory language, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate removal from the venue without refund. Mobile phones must be kept on silent mode during sessions.
Tickets, once booked, are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the event of cancellation by the organizers. The organizers reserve the right to modify the schedule, format, or list of human books, or to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances. By attending the event, participants consent to abide by these terms and respect the safe, inclusive spirit of the Human Library experience.

Leash is Mandatory
All pets must be on a secure leash at all times. No free roaming. -
Vaccination is Compulsory
Pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations. Carry proof if requested. -
Pet Parent Responsibility
Pet parents are fully responsible for their pet’s behaviour and safety. -
Clean-Up Rule
Clean up after your pet immediately. Disposal bins will be provided. -
Aggressive Behaviour
Pets showing aggressive behaviour may be asked to leave for everyone’s safety. -
Health Condition
Unwell, injured, or female pets in heat are not allowed inside the venue. -
Hydration & Comfort
Ensure your pet is well hydrated and not stressed. Take breaks when needed. -
No Outside Food (If Applicable)
Outside pet food or treats may be restricted in certain activity zones. -
Activity Participation
Follow staff instructions during games, pools, contests, and stage activities. -
Respect the Community
Be kind to fellow pet parents, pets, vendors, and volunteers.
