  • Group of Technology Companies (GTech), the industry body of IT companies in Kerala, is organizing the 4th edition of the GTech MARATHON - one of the biggest and most high-profile marathons in Kerala. Following the massive success of the 3rd edition in Thiruvananthapuram, the event now returns to Kochi on Sunday, February 15th, 2026. Over 10,000 runners from all walks of life are expected to take part.The marathon will feature 3 exciting run categories: Half Marathon (21.1km), 10km, and a 3km Fun Run - encouraging participants of all fitness levels to join and make a difference.

    The event continues to support the important theme of a “Drug Free Kerala”, raising public awareness about the dangers of drug abuse, especially among the youth. Participation is open to the general public; prior registration is mandatory. Join this powerful movement and run with thousands for a healthier, drug-free Kerala.

    The race takes place in and around Infopark, Kochi, offering a unique experience as participants run through one of the largest IT parks in the country, surrounded by beautiful green landscapes and prominent technology campuses.The GTech MARATHON continues to offer one of the lowest race fees compared to other major marathon events in Kerala, making it accessible to everyone.This year’s marathon is dedicated to the theme “Drug Free Kerala,” focusing on raising awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and inspiring collective action to build a drug-free community.

  • Registration once completed is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
    Participants must register using accurate personal details; providing false information may lead to disqualification.
    Participation is at the runner’s own risk. The organisers are not responsible for any injury, illness, loss, or damage during the event.
    All participants confirm that they are medically fit to take part in the marathon.
    Bib numbers and race kits are mandatory and must be worn visibly throughout the race.
    Timing chips (if applicable) must be used as instructed for accurate race results.
    Any form of cheating, misrepresentation, or unsporting behaviour will result in immediate disqualification.
    The organisers reserve the right to modify the route, race schedule, start time, or event format due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
    The event may be cancelled or postponed due to force majeure conditions (natural calamities, government restrictions, or emergencies); no refunds will be issued in such cases.
    Participants must follow all race rules, route marshals, and volunteer instructions during the event.
    Organisers are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
    By registering, participants grant permission to the organisers to use photographs, videos, and recordings taken during the event for promotional and media purposes.
    Consumption of alcohol, drugs, or any prohibited substances during the event is strictly prohibited.
    Minors (if allowed) must be registered with parental or guardian consent.
    Finisher medals, certificates, and race benefits are subject to successful completion of the race and compliance with event rules.

Pet Event – Terms & Conditions

  1. Leash is Mandatory
    All pets must be on a secure leash at all times. No free roaming.
  2. Vaccination is Compulsory
    Pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations. Carry proof if requested.
  3. Pet Parent Responsibility
    Pet parents are fully responsible for their pet’s behaviour and safety.
  4. Clean-Up Rule
    Clean up after your pet immediately. Disposal bins will be provided.
  5. Aggressive Behaviour
    Pets showing aggressive behaviour may be asked to leave for everyone’s safety.
  6. Health Condition
    Unwell, injured, or female pets in heat are not allowed inside the venue.
  7. Hydration & Comfort
    Ensure your pet is well hydrated and not stressed. Take breaks when needed.
  8. No Outside Food (If Applicable)
    Outside pet food or treats may be restricted in certain activity zones.
  9. Activity Participation
    Follow staff instructions during games, pools, contests, and stage activities.
  10. Respect the Community
    Be kind to fellow pet parents, pets, vendors, and volunteers.
