Diwali is the five-day Festival of Lights, celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains which signify the victory of light over darkness.
Dipawali, or Diwali is referred to as the festival of lights, the name which comes from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa). Diwali festival is a five-day celebration, and sweets, fireworks, colored sand, and special candles and lamps are the major highlights of the festival.
During this festival, Peoples are lightning Rows of lamps inside and outside homes and temples which symbolizes the victory of light over dark and also the power of good over evil. Homes are decorated, and floors inside and out with rangoli designs.
Diwali 2021 in India, which happens on Thursday, 4th November. During this day, people visit their loved ones, exchanging gifts, wearing new clothes, feasting, feeding the poor, and blowing up fireworks.
