Diwali is the Hindu Festival of Lights, Usually Lasting Five Days and Celebrated During the Hindu Lunisolar month Kartika.
Dipawali, or Diwali is also known as festival of lights, the name which is derived from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa). Diwali festival is a five day celebration, including sweets, fireworks, colored sand, and special candles and lamps.
Rows of lamps are lightning inside and outside homes and temples for the day which symbolizes the victory of light over dark and also the power of good over evil.
Diwali dates mainly happen in October or November. Diwali 2020 in India, which happens on Saturday, 14th November.
